If I get up after sunrise and have not had the pre fast meal before fajr then will my fast still be accepted?

Answer:

All praise is due to Allah, exalted is He, and peace and blessing be upon His Messenger.

It is not a requirement for the validity of the fast that one takes the pre fast meal (suhur). Therefore one’s fast will be accepted but one will miss out on the reward of having that meal which carries much blessing due to the Prophet’s saying, ‘Eat suhur for there is blessing in suhur’ (al-Bukhari).
