All praise is to Allah SWT who inspired peoples’ hearts to donate towards Islamic Education on the night of the 23rd of Ramadan. Ebrahim College raised a staggering £218,000 on the night. And a grand total of £306,000 in pledges throughout the blessed month. SubhanAllah.

Our unreserved thanks to all our donors and volunteers who made this possible even though these are times of austerity in the UK. Sheikh Mushfique Uddin, the CEO of Ebrahim Al Khalil,  said on the morning of the event “We have put in all our efforts and have done as much as we can. It is now up to Allah to reward us with success”. And it seems that Allah SWT has blessed us with a successful fundraiser.

Sheikh Shams Ad-Duha Muhammad, Director of Academic Development, left a message on facebook straight after the fundraiser ended:
“My dear brothers and sisters. I can’t sleep as I think about what you have all achieved today. So I’m going to thank you and see if my mind will rest then. May Allah’s mercy stay with you always. You have shown us how easily we will completely this project. We are not alone because Allah (swt) is with us. We know that because you are with us. You are the ‘ansarullah’…
…My phone died, I put it on charge as I drove home and there were more donations. Subhanallah. I want all of you to reach £5k individually as I would like you as companions on a journey to the house of Allah (swt). It would be an honour. Jazaakumullah ahsanal jaza.”
