Entry Level Courses
Entry-level courses
enable you to progress to GNVQ foundation or NVQ level 1. Various vocational, literacy, numeracy and IT qualifications can be acquired at this level. At EC we have courses that focus on developing core literacy, numeracy and IT skills, enabling students to progress to higher courses and our Islamic Sciences Programme (ISP).
Entry Requirements for Entry-Level Courses
No qualifications are needed for the entry-level courses. The courses are designed for beginners.

Edexcel Entry-level Certificate in Adult Literacy,
Edexcel Entry-level Certificate in Adult Numeracy,
Edexcel Entry-level Certificate in Information and Communication Technology,
Entry-level course in Islamic Studies and Arabic (not accredited)
What You Can Do After This Course
After entry-level courses you can progress to level 1 courses. These can be GNVQ foundation courses, level 1 adult literacy and numeracy courses, and GCSE's targeting grades D-G.
Length of the Courses
Normally 1 academic year.
