Course Description
This beginner friendly course is designed for those students who yearn to start their journey in Hifdh al Qur’an (memorisation of the Qur’an) by memorising the important and chapters and verses of the Qur’an
Who is it for?
You must be able to read the Qur’an fluently to enrol onto this course. You will need to commit to 2 hours of contact time per week, and at least a further 2 hours of personal study. Students who cannot read Arabic should join the Introduction to Arabic & Tajweed course.
Duration:
12 weeks (36 hours in total)
2 hours per week
Prerequisites:
Introduction to Arabic and Tajweed course.
Progression:
Students who complete this may progress to Hifdh Level 1

Surah Al-Fatiha (complete)
Longest verse of the Quran (2:282)
Surah Maidah – (5: 116-117)
The first 10 verses of Surah al-Qaf (18:1 till 10)
Surah Nur (24 : Verse 35)
Surah Mominoon (23 : (1 till 11)
Surah Furqan (25: 63 till 77)
Surah Hashr (59 : 21 till 24)
Surah Al-Baqarah (2:152-155)
Surah Al-Zumar (39:53-56)
Surah Al-Hujuraat (49:1-5)
Surah Al-Hadeed (57: 20-21)
Surah Aa’la (87: 1-19)
Surah Alaq (96: 1-5)
Skills and application:
- Confidently read surahs and verses from memory
Assessment
Students will be assessed at the end of the course.
