Conversational Summer Arabic Intensive (In Collaboration with Ebrahim College)

Set out on a life-changing journey to study Arabic in the ARÖMER summer course, the International Arab Center for Education, Applications, and Research.

Course dates: Monday 18th August – Friday 12th September 2025

Applications will close on Friday 4th of July 2025 at 6pm.

What type of course is it?

This is an immersion course in conversational Arabic course where you will learn to speak Arabic. The focus of this course is fluency in spoken and verbal communication. The teachers are native Arabic speakers who specialise in teaching non-native speakers.

We use this inspiration to improve our own skills and competency in speaking Arabic. Alhamdulillah all of us learn to read the Qur’an in Arabic and some of us go on to learn Arabic grammar to understand the Qur’an and classical Arabic texts. However, we often do not get the opportunity to improve our proficiency in spoken Arabic. This is a unique opportunity to gain greater fluency in spoken Arabic. It is both for beginners and for those who have prior knowledge of Arabic.

Who is it for?

This is a course for everyone from absolute beginners to those who already have some level of competency in Arabic. It is of special benefit to students of knowledge who have studied Arabic grammar and want to improve their spoken Arabic proficiency and fluency.

Students will be placed in small groups with other students on the same level. This way the course will be tailored for the students in that group and their level.
