A course designed for Arabic students to read from a multitude of sources and materials, building up the students ability and confidence to read complex Arabic material
Who is it for?
This course has been designed for students who have completed the Arabic Intensive (or its equivalent), to aid them in reading independently
You must be able to read Arabic correctly and fluently without vowels to enrol onto this course. You will need to commit to 1.5 hours of contact time per week, and at least a further 1.5 hours of personal study. Students who cannot read or understand Arabic should join the Introduction to Arabic & Tajweed course.

12 weeks
1.5 hours per week
Prerequisites:
Arabic Intensive or equivalent
Progression:
Students who complete this may progress to Guided Reading Level 1
Course Brief

- Qasas Book 5
- Mukhtarat
- Ihya Ulum al-Din
- and more
Course Learning Outcomes
Skills and application:
- Reading fluently and translating correctly
- Confidently read texts without any vowels
- To recognise Nahw, Sarf and Balagha rules confidently
Assessment
Students will be assessed at the end of the course.
