Dr Ramon Harvey is the Aziz Foundation Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Ebrahim College and lectures on the BA in Islamic Studies at Cambridge Muslim College. He received his MA and then PhD in Islamic Studies from SOAS, University of London, where he has also lectured, and an ‘alimiyya qualification from Al-Salam Institute. He has published articles in a number of academic journals and his first book The Qur’an and the Just Society with Edinburgh University Press. His research interests are in Qur’anic studies, philosophical theology and ethics, and he is currently working on co-editing a collected volume on justice for IIIT and a second book on Muslim theology for EUP.
