Are you new to Islam? Or do you just want to brush up on your everyday essentials?
Ebrahim College's new course, Islam 101, will help you to navigate the basics so you can solidify the foundations of your faith.
You will begin your journey to reciting the Qur'an correctly, gain more confidence in your purification practices and prayer, understand more about the tenets of your faith, and discover the best of examples through the life of the Prophet Muhammad (saw). This course has 3 parts and is delivered over 30 weeks in total over 3 terms. Students are required to either sign up each term or for the whole year programme.

Overview of content
Each session will be broken up into slots to cover a range of subjects every week. Subjects will include:
1. Introduction to recitation of the Qur'an (beginning from the letters of the Arabic alphabet)
2. The rules of purification and prayer (according to the Hanafi legal school)
3. Core beliefs of a Muslim
4. The life of the Prophet Muhammed (saw)
