I have been a fitness instructor for 5 years and Personal Trainer for almost 3 years. I run fitness classes in East London at different community centres. I set up my own fitness business @trainwithjum during lockdown, when people had no access to gyms and group classes, I was running sessions online to keep our Muslim women active.

Staying active and running these fitness classes is my passion. My goal is to motivate our Muslim women in our community to enjoy being active and realise the health benefits of exercise, and not see exercise as a ‘chore’. This is something I can relate to, as I was very overweight with health issues such as diabetes and high cholesterol 10 years ago. which I reversed by changing my lifestyle
