We were delighted to kick start Mufti Ateeq Bastawi’s 2018 tour of the UK on 23 November 2018. Mufti Bastawi is the academic secretary of Fiqh Academy and senior post graduate fiqh supervisor at Nawatul Ulama. He was introduced by our very own, Mufti Barakatullah, and delivered a talk on Shariah in Plural Societies in the Muslim South Asian Experience to a well attended audience of ulama, imams and students of knowledge.
