Course Description
The programme will cover the lives of the prophets who were sent down before Muhammad (saw) by Allah (swt) to spread the true message of the oneness of Allah (SWT).
In term 3, students will also study either the ‘The Mothers of the Believers’ or ‘The Rightly Guided Khulafaa’ course depending on which course is running in that academic year as they alternate. These courses study the lives of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) who were the best of generations to traverse this earth including the lives of the ‘Mothers of the Believers’ and the early post prophetic era and looks at the lives and rule of the four successors to leadership of the Muslim people after the passing of the prophet Muhammad (SAW).Â
This programme includes the following modules. For more information, please click on the relevant level.
- Stories of the Prophets, Part 1
- Starts September, 10 weeks, 3 hours each lesson
- Stories of the Prophets, Part 2
- Starts January, 10 weeks, 3 hours each lesson
- The Mothers of the Believers or Stories narrated by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ or another course from our Islamic History series
- Starts in May, 12 weeks, 3 hours (Total 36 hours)
Duration:
32 weeks – delivered over 3 terms
Who is it for & what are the prerequisites:
There are no pre requisites for this course.
Progression/Related course:
Students who complete this may choose to do Islamic History Programme (One).
Assessment
Students will not be assessed at the end of the course.
Course Delivery
This course is run either onsite or online. When registering, please choose your preferred option/platform. Please note, we may not have both options available in the same term.

Course Resources
All students will receive the relevant course details, materials 5 days before the course starts. This will include:
- Zoom meeting details (for online courses)
- PDF versions of the course materials/notes by email
- Link to Google Drive to access courses notes and recordings (if applicable)
- Link to Google Classroom to interact with teachers, receive additional course material and information (if applicable).
Please note:
- Printed copies of your course materials are available to collect from the college office on request.
