Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Live Online Short Courses
Within 14 days
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment, but the costs of the course materials (if provided to you), any classes that may have already been delivered (regardless of whether you attended or not) and £10 admin charge will be deducted from the refund.
You will not be entitled to a refund if the course is delivered in full (regardless of whether you attended or not) within 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment.
After 14 days
• Receive a refund, but the costs of the course materials (if provided to you), any classes that have already been delivered (regardless of whether you attended or not) and £10 admin charge will be deducted from the refund.
You will not be entitled to a refund after 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment. However, depending on the circumstances, at our complete discretion and as a gesture of goodwill, we may consider a refund request after 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment. If your refund request is accepted, then we will offer you the options below. You may only take up one of these options once.
• Accept a coupon. The costs of the course materials (if provided to you), any classes that have already been delivered (regardless of whether you attended or not) and £10 admin charge will be deducted from the coupon. The coupon can only be redeemed against a course delivered by Ebrahim College. The coupon will expire after the specified date.
You will not be entitled to a refund if the course is delivered in full (regardless of whether you attended or not) by the time you request the refund.
Please note that changes in your personal circumstances are not the responsibility of Ebrahim College and neither can Ebrahim College be held liable for any changes in your personal circumstances.
Arabic Intensive/Alimiyyah programmes
The start of the upcoming academic year for the Arabic Intensive and Alimiyyah programmes is 1 September (regardless of whether classes take place on that day or not).
Before 1 September
Before the start of the upcoming academic year on 1 September, you may request a refund, but the cost of any course materials (if provided to you) and £100 admin charge will be deducted from the refund.
After 1 September
After the start of the upcoming academic year on 1 September, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment, but the cost of any course materials (if provided to you) and 20% admin charge will be deducted from the refund.
After the start of the upcoming academic year on 1 September, you will not be entitled to a refund after 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment. If you choose to withdraw from your course after the start of the upcoming academic year on 1 September and after 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment, you will still be liable to pay the full course fees in accordance with the terms and conditions of your signed agreement and payment plan with Ebrahim College.
Please note that changes in your circumstances are not the responsibility of Ebrahim College and neither can Ebrahim College be held liable for changes in your circumstances.
On demand online courses
On demand online courses are delivered from the point of the access/login details being emailed to you. You may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment, but 50% of the cost of the course will be deducted from the refund.
You will not be entitled to a refund after 14 calendar days from the day you made the payment.
How do I request a refund?
All refund requests must be in writing. You must email your refund request to admin@ebrahimcollege.org.uk
You are responsible for ensuring your refund request is received. Ebrahim College will not be responsible for emails not received.
Refund requests by telephone or in person will not be accepted.
When will I receive my refund?
We will process your refund as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 calendar days from the date you requested the refund. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.
How will I receive my refund?
Your refund will be paid using the same means of payment as you used for the initial payment (e.g. PayPal, debit card) unless mutually agreed otherwise.
Technical faults/disruptions
We will not be liable for any technical faults/disruptions caused by IT equipment in the delivery of our online classes.

Cancelled classes
While our dedicated teachers work hard to deliver our advertised courses, there are occasions when we must cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances e.g. illness, bereavement. A cancelled class will be made up later. If your class is cancelled, we will inform you by email and let you know the date and time your class will be made up.
You will not be entitled to a refund for any cancelled class that is delivered later.
Suspend and remove
We reserve the right to suspend and remove you from a course or programme if you disrupt that course or programme by displaying unacceptable behaviour, without you having any recourse to a refund.
What if my course delivery is changed?
Rescheduled courses:
We reserve the right to change course content, assessments, dates, times and teachers. If we reschedule a course, we will inform you by email. If you cannot attend the rescheduled course, then you must request a refund within 14 calendar days of receiving our email. You will not be entitled to a refund if you make your refund request after 14 calendars days of receiving our email. However, depending on the circumstances, at our complete discretion, we may consider a refund request after 14 calendar days of receiving our email. If your refund request is accepted, then we will offer you the options below. You may only take up one of these options once.
