Written by the great Ḥanbali jurist Marʿī bin Yūsuf al Karmi (d.1033h), Dalīl al Ṭālib is one of the most recognised primers in Ḥanbali fiqh (law) that represents the relied upon positions of the school. The Hanbali school is from the great four schools of fiqh
Context:
This module will cover the fundamentals of purity and prayer via a study of a classical manual in Hanbali school
Learning Outcomes:
The aim of the class is for students to develop a basic understanding of fiqh according to the Ḥanbali school. By doing so, a student will have the foundations to develop a deeper understanding of the principles and philosophy of Islamic Law.

Course Delivery:
This course will only be streamed live online using an online live streaming platform called ‘Zoom’. Lessons will be recorded and students will be provided access to them. Further details will be emailed to students 5 days before the course commences inshaAllah.
